Active Citizenship is a circular process of raising awareness, changing attitudes and taking action based on the values of cultural diversity, democracy, human rights, social and environmental justice, working and learning together.

…using the radio/mass media as a tool for making an impact on society, making a difference, distribute opinions, expressing needs.
…when individuals learn to be more sensitive and responsible for multiple aspects of societal concerns e.g. social / cultural diversity, environmental issues, sustainability, respectful democratic society, fight against discrimination by active use of media.
…when citizens are encouraged to raise their voice against or for something and are empowered to do it through a reflected reading and writing of the media, using platforms which fit to their needs.
